Producing a strong sound this Kala KA-15SS Spruce Top Soprano Ukulele represents a great upgrade from the lower spec entry level Ukuleles on the market. This affordable mahogany series Uke from Kala feaures a spruce top, a tonewood usually only making an apperance on more expensive premium instruments, for that full sounding blend of mellow low end and sparking highs.    As a direct result of the Spruce top construction KA-15SS owners will experience a welcome volume boost with that added tonal punch as well as a visually appealing light coloured wood to contrast the mahogany.   With mahogany making up the back, sides and neck of this instrument you get that typical mahogany warmth with pronounced rich sounding mids to go with it. A crutial aspect of any Uke is its ability to stay in tune and with the quality chrome die-cast open back tuners you can be confident the KA-15S will do just that.   This classy Uke is simple and stripped down in the looks department while the more premium spruce top gives it the edge over those more basic Ukuleles. This great sounding Ukulele would be a great choice for both beginners who what that extra quality or even accomplished players who will appreciate its warm, rich tones.    *Fingerboard may come up lighter than image shown.
