ABOUT THE INSTRUMENT:
This is another one of the INCREDIBLE HANDMADE
PROFESSIONAL GUITARS from my collection. As I have said before, I am
always on the hunt for the PERFECT GUITAR and I always find it. But there
are always more than one. THIS IS ANOTHER ONE.
If you are looking for a one of a kind guitar
to add to your collection, or as a starting piece for your new collection, I
guarantee you will love this one. That
is the basis of my “no questions” return policy. Buy it. Get it. Try it out for 72 hours. If you don’t like it, just let me know and I
will refund all of your money.
It was handmade by David Stephens of Alder Creek
Guitars from New Hartford, NY, in October of 2002. It is impossible to
show the BEAUTY OF THIS GUITAR IN PHOTOGRAPHS. And its sound is
SUPERB. I have never seen another one of these guitars. I talked
personally to Dave about it a couple years ago. He is a real renaissance
guy moving from one trade to another-while mastering all of them. He only
built a few guitars so you can pretty much ignore the designation of #26
(inside the pickup cavity it is labeled #23 made on August 14, 2002). It
seems to be more of a random choice of a number to use than a serialized trail
of production. He spent months building this guitar and it
shows. Everything on it is just about perfect.
The sn for this one is: #24
It is different from the "TORRENT"
model that I also have listed. This one is made for the guitar player who
is after the simplicity of a single pup instrument that gives him/her complete
control over its sound production. The Flame Eastern Maple body always
gives you a consistent tone and sustain. You always know where the sound
is coming from. And with only a single volume and tone knob, then you let
your feet do the fuzzy stuff. It is totally adaptable to most lead
styles. You will not be happy playing just the rhythm parts with this
guitar. Upfront and loud is its place on stage. Even though I loved
this guitar’s original simple finish, I did not think it matched the incredible
grain in the wood, so I asked the incredibly talented Kevin Smith of TONESMITH
GUITARS to add some magic to it. He did
and it is now extraordinary. The “lemon
finish” makes it shine. And the added
binding is perfect.
I strongly dislike the term “BOUTIQUE” guitar
but maybe it applies here. This is an EXCLUSIVE GUITAR. Its strong
design style, electronic power, tone creation, top of line materials, and
expert craftsmanship do make it EXLCUSIVE.

TRY IT OUT POLICY.
Understanding the normal hesitation of buying a guitar without first playing
it, I want to make sure these guitars make you happy. To accomplish that, I
want you to try them for 72 hours (three days). Play them, hold them, walk
around with them on your back, sleep with then-whatever it takes for you to
make sure these are the ones for you. During that time, you can return them for
a full refund of your payment price (but of course they need to be treated well
while you have them, as I expect you will) less shipping cost and you must pay
the cost to ship it back to us.
NOTE: I want each
Buyer of a guitar from my collection to be pleased and happy with his/her
purchase so let me know immediately of any problems with your purchase so that
we can work it out. Thanks.
