For sale sale is a 1985 Rickenbacker 4003 bass guitar. It was made during the short run of split pickguards which makes it unique to other 4003s and makes it easier to access the truss rods.
YOU WILL NOT FIND A CLEANER ONE
Pick Of The Ricks in Lindenwold NJ set it up and had new Rickenbacker specific round-wound strings installed. They also installed a drop-in chrome thumbrest as an insert around the bridge pickup. A very clean and factory looking part. It plays incredible and has amazing low action. NO FRET WEAR !!! . Tiny nicks on too of headstock and one by the nut above the neck but its not where your thumb would go.
Its about as nice as a 35 year old instrument gets! I woukd say it is in the excellent to near mint condition range. Factory case included but handle has been repaired. Please ask any questions....NECK IS LAZER STRAIGHT...NO FRETT WEAR...
