Favier Folk Model "F" - Olive

Extremely balanced and tempered instrument. Ideal for picking with sublime high tones.

This model is halfway between the big Dreadnought guitars - mainly used in the mediator - and smaller models such as the Grand Concert, which guitarists love to play with their fingers.
We designed our first model, the F model, as a combination of these two models to suit both schools.
An acoustic guitar without imbalance, basses that are not too muffled, a midrange that is well present with sufficiently piercing highs. This mix gives it a beautiful definition of the notes, pleasant whatever the style of playing.

This folk guitar is equipped with Schaller oil bath mechanics, the saddles and pegs are made of bone.
It has a double-action tuning bar. We can now come to the peculiarities and exceptional points which partly make this guitar belong to the very top of the range.

Honduran rosewood and olive wood are scarce species in lutherie. The Honduran rosewood shows its classical beauty here, while the olive wood is rather remarkable.
The first recall of the olive wood, in the rosette, is made in one piece, so it is cut out of the mass, it is not binding.
The neck, in nine layers, presents the second recall, with the central core in olive wood.

The aesthetics of this guitar also originates from the use of the same essence for the fingerboard, the head veneer, and the bridge. So there is unity and continuity on the front. The unique threading, taken from the same piece of Rosewood that makes up the other parts of the guitar, also makes its little recall.
