Martin D-18VS 2006- 12 Fret Slotted Headstock Acoustic Guitar

For sale here is a 2006 Martin D-18VS guitar.  I've owned the guitar for about 6 years now.  I bought it used from a music store in Kansas.  The guitar is a 12 fret guitar with a slotted headstock, in the old style before 14 fret guitars came around.  Has the old style long through saddle.  I bought it because I was really into Norman Blake and wanted a guitar like he had.  The guitar is in really good condition.  Minimal light scratching from normal playing.  There are no cracks or other structural issues.  The frets are in great condition with minimal wear.  The only minor thing I'll mention is that it looks like the strap button was moved previously and the previous hole filled in.  It's not very noticeable at all and is in a place that won't be seen much.  I just want to be thorough.

This guitar is an excellent sounding guitar.  It sounds wonderful!  I hate to part with it, but my arthritis is such that I can't play guitar much anymore.  I'd rather it get into someone's hands who will use it as it should be.  It comes with the original Martin hardshell case, also in really nice condition.  Please view the pictures as they are part of the description, and please ask any questions you may have.  Thanks!
