Up for consideration is very cool "Quest by Vantage" vintage 1980s mini travel guitar. Originally a stock MIJ / Matsumoku guitar, I bought it in Toronto in the 1990s to play while traveling, and back home had a custom body replacement made by an architect friend. The guitar retains its original Matusmoku electronics, with the HB split-coil switch, along with the string-through bridge. Tuners have been upgraded to Gotoh. It plays really well and is quite fun for the original travel guitar use, and also high-strung in Nashville tuning. Guaranteed you will never see another one like this!!
The guitar has some scratches and dings from normal 40 years of use, and the strap knob was relocated away from the top of the bass horn. Normally, these Matsumoku Quest travel guitars sell for around $375, so here is a great opportunity to own a custom-made, eye-catching travel guitar save $100!! Does not come with a case.
