This is a very well-made copy of a 50s-era Gibson Les Paul Junior made by MCi Custom Shop, maker of some of the best Gibson replicas every made. This guitar is handmade, using much of the old-style Gibson building techniques and NOS premium mahogany. The construction of the neck and body use the traditional-style hide glue. The pickup is a period-correct P-90, as is the vintage hardware and electronics. The interesting look of the finish is made to appear like black lacquer over the tv yellow with white primer being visible due to the relic style.
