This is certainly a collector's dream for sure! Very rare bird indeed and a throwback to late 60s hippie/folkie era. This guitar was made by Kawai who bought Teisco brand in late 60s. It was branded as Splendor, Winston, Kawai and others.
This one is branded as Gibson as a prior owner decided to have some fun with it. It appears the stamped Gibson badge may be from a vintage Gibson case. Very light wear with no damage. Bridge mute is present but missing lever and rubber muting strip.
The guitar has been completely serviced in our shop and thoroughly cleaned. Trussrod adjusted, fretboard cleaned and conditioned, all electronics cleaned, new set of .009-.042 strings installed. This guitar plays great with low action and pickups give it a great midrangy tone.
This one will be sure to turn heads when you pull it out of its original case that is included! Shipping will be $65 anywhere in continental USA and $200 anywhere else.
