This is a Tokai tribute to the legendary Fender ‘The Strat’.
It is a lawsuit era 1978-1979 Tokai Silver Star, that I have upgraded to ‘The Strat’ style solid brass hardware. (Tremolo and knobs.)
The parts we’re acquired from Tokai’s old stock. This hardware is from their exact ‘The Strat’ copy called the ST-70 Limited, but I prefer the 70s headstock of the Silver Star.
Everything that is not gold or plastic is 100% stock on this guitar. (Would have had black plastics.) Has the original grey bottom pickups, tuners pots etc.
Note the tremolo arm is not original, it is floppy in there but does the job.
The guitar plays like a dream IMHO.
This is a players grade natural relic guitar. Refer to pics for cosmetic condition, but expect dings and scratches.
So if you want a ‘The Strat’ with legendary Tokai quality and a fraction of the price tag of the real thing. Or a Tokai SS that stands apart from the rest, don’t hesitate to make me an offer on this mojo-monster.
