Carver Amazing Loudspeaker AL-III Plus Black

These are the third version of Carver's famous Amazing Loudspeakers. This is AL-III Plus, they are dipolar speakers (sound out the front and back), meant to be placed away from the front wall. The speakers consists of a 10" down-firing woofer and 48" mid-high ribbon driver on top. They have internal crossovers or you can bi-amp them. I run them bi-amped and have had them for about 10 years. I love these speakers, but I am installing a home theater and they just don't fit in. It's time for someone else to try them out. If you found this, you probably know what these are. Condition wise, foam on the woofers is in good shape, and the ribbons are perfect. The foam covering the front of the ribbons is worn a bit on one speaker, and there's a hole where the woofer port is. This doesn't affect performance at all, and you can get new foam for a few bucks on ebay.  If you want to arrange your own shipping that's fine, we can negotiate.
