Up for sale is a 1971 Gibson EB-0 Left Handed Short Scale (30.5”) Electric Bass in good condition and perfect working order. This axe just was just given a pro set up and the frets were leveled and crowned so it plays amazingly with low action, no buzzing and the stock pickup sounds killer! And these lefty’s are HARD to find and are super rare! They just didn’t make many.
Cosmetically, this axe is definitely a players grade instrument with tons of cool vintage vibe. It has some dents, dings, scratches, and some great finish checking, all of which give it that proper vintage character that lots of players really dig.
The serial number dates the bass as being between 1970-1972 and the pots are dated 1971. The nut, knobs, bridge and strap buttons have been replaced. The bridge is a Hipshot bridge and is definitely an upgrade. Comes with the original nut, original bridge cover, and original bridge. Original bridge is missing the screws and springs. Comes with a Gibson gig bag. Weighs 7.6lbs.
