Maestro RM-1 Ring Modulator The King of Ring Modulators! The RM-1 is pure sonic perfection.

musician... This unit is in very good working sonic condition. I purchased it from the late John Leimseider, Master Technician at the former Cantos Musical Foundation. He had added a toggle switch to select internal carrier/ external carrier on the fly. As with every RM-1, the sliders glide a little rough. In that light, these sliders are actually pretty smooth.
Cosmetic condition: Well, she's seen a lot of action! It would be cool to know the history. - 4 extra screw holes on the chassis bottom. - The "Amp" jack is bent, no impact on functionality. Everything works, the chassis is solid. - Missing top sticker. See photos. Great opportunity to experience the sonic magic and power of the RM-1 and own a piece of history.
The RM-1 was an early ring modulator effect built by Maestro. Like many vintage effects, condition is a major factor for resale value. Additionally, there is some variation with this effect as to whether it comes with an MP-1 control pedal. Those with the MP-1 intact are worth more.
Years of Production: 1971 - 1975
