Ventura Semi-Hollow Body Electric Bass Guitar
from the 60’s to 70’s at newest. Light surface scratches an some white paint. On the 12th fret pic I included, you can see some small dots those have slowly been coming off lightly scratching off. very pretty vintage bass.
will need to be set up I have no idea where exactly it should be action is high but neck appears straight.
One screw on pickup cover is close to being a stripped screw (shown in pics)
Brand new strings
- D key is a vintage replacement (tight when turning but fully functions)
- when selector is in bridge position the volume seems to drop a lot going lower than 8 volume
-A Key has a bend but works perfect ( I debated on bending it back but I’m accident prone so I decided to leave it)
-Missing Pick-guard so 3 holes for pickguard mounting are exposed
-top side where arm would test has a stretch maybe around a ft long where the white binding to the middle wood tone has separated a small amount.
- the output jack works in certain spots ( we have the cord tucked in the “shoelace strap it came with to play) but needs some solder because if you touch it you hear feedback
