About This Listing

[THE GOLDEN ERA GUITAR]

This is a deep bodied Grand Concert by David Eichelbaum. Combine that depth with African Blackwood, you have a really deep and resonant sounding guitar that is extremely responsive to a light touch. The voice is deep, loud, and clear, making it a really nice fingerstyle instrument with lots of reverb.

The instrument was built in 2004 but has been immaculately taken care of, and is pretty much as mint as an instrument of that age can get. A new guitar today from David would easily cost more than twice as much so it doesn't get much more value for money than this.

African Blackwood is an extremely rare Rosewood and is the heaviest tonewood used for guitars, which results in a very resounding and dark tone unlike any other tonewood. This set has a gorgeous bit of sapwood too that contrasts the darkness of the wood very beautifully.
