Up for sale is a beautiful Guild JF65-12  string in very good condition. The Jumbo bodied Guild archback is one of the most iconic 12 string guitars ever built. This one has some great figure in the back, sides, and neck of the guitar. The AAA Sitka spruce top also has tons of silking with very little wear for a 25 year old guitar. The only negatives to point out with this guitar are some minor cosmetic flaws. There is some light swirling, and some faint scuffs and scratches, but they are only visible from up close and under certain lighting. There are some light dings and scratches, but nothing that really stands out. The pick guard shows a couple of spots where some kind of chemical was used to clean it, but it ended up making the flaws permanent. If they bother you, then replacing the pickguard is an easy fix for your local luthier, and does not cost much. Pick guards also tend to shrink over time, so it is a good thing for your guitar to have a replacement pickguard every 20 to 30 years in order to protect the Sitka Spruce top.
The guitar plays like a dream. The action and play ability are excellent. The neck angle is perfect, so this guitar is far from needing a neck reset. The saddle height is also at a healthy position for a vintage instrument. The guitar binding is in great shape with no pieces chipped, split, or missing. The fretboard and frets are in great shape with little to no signs of wear. The guitar comes with a guild case that is in good condition.
This guitar is going to make someone very happy. It has been a joy to play and look at, over the last week, but it is time to find it a new owner who will love it, and play it daily. Please message me with any and all questions, requests, and offers. I prefer to make deals privately through my site. The only guitars I buy, sell, and collect are guild acoustics. I have tons of experience with all the top of the line models. I have several other Guild Acoustics for sale, and I am buying more used Guild inventory every week, so please check back with me soon to see what Guilds I have to offer. I guitar hunt daily for the best Guilds, in the best condition, to offer up for sale. If there is a specific Guild that you are looking for, feel free to send me a message, and I can help you find it. Thanks for looking!!
