Extremely Rare features (In addition to being a lefty): 1968 Stamped Maple Cap Neck/Fretboard with black block inlays which is def makes it the 1st or one of the firsts to have black block inlays! It’s def the first lefty to have them. All Original- minus the 1991 pots and the pickups having been re-wound back in the 90s. It even has the original hard case!
Original finish was Olympic White but as you can see, 50+ years in age has given it new character. I mean- c’mon. nothing beats a natural/original aging/relic over time 😎A master-built Fender Custom Shop reissue couldn’t do a relic job like this!
Aside from the stunning visual aesthetic, this bass sounds and plays like butter.
This is a dream piece for the lefty player.
Purchased originally from Kebo’s Bassworks who have vintage certified and appraised this bass as THE TRUTH.
