Hippie CA manufacturer Neck Padauk body Brown

This is an Hippie made type neck with 2 purple heart stringers. The bass was finished by someone other than the neck maker. A Padauk body was added. By whom I don’t know. The electronics are unspecified brand passive. Badass II bridge. This is a strange animal because it has the neck and a heavy resonant body without the sound chambers of an original. . So it's a hybrid of the piano high end, sustain for days, but also a low end grunt. Basically a beefy low end punch and a “High-fidelity” treble tone. It's awesome, if you know what you want. I've recorded with it and the sound is just unbelievable due to the neck construction and Padauk body. Certainly an oddball instrument but it is a real tone monster.
