2015 Zane Guitars USA Custom Shop Jody Davis (Newsboys) Custom Signature Z-hole Semi-Hollowbody Electric Guitar.
This Zane Guitars Custom Shop "Z-hole" semi-hollow body electric guitar was made by Zane Guitars out of Wisconsin, USA. It is based on the guitars designed and hand-built by Newsboys' guitarist, Jody Davis (J. Davis Fine Guitars), and built to Jody's specifications and is truly a very unique and fun guitar design. Awesome worship guitar! It has a chimey, Gretsch-like tone with its TV Jones classic pickups and Bigsby tremolo tailpiece. Beautiful cherry sunburst paint scheme with a figured maple neck with rosewood fretboard. The figured maple is evident on the back of the neck and on the headstock and really sets the guitar off. Comes with a Road Runner hardcase and is in great condition.. plays and sounds great!! Not a lot of these guitars were built during the company's run. You can see and hear Nashville pro guitarist Shawn Tubbs using a similar Zane J. Davis guitar to lay down rhythm tracks in the YouTube video "Pettyjohn Chime Demo by Shawn Tubbs". Check it out!
