Tiptop Audio RS909 Rimshot Drum Module

TipTop Audio's RS909 Rimshot module is a new addition to their line of 808/909 drum modules. Extending the sound palette of their modular drum machine series, the RS909 makes the classic 909 rimshot available in Eurorack format.

The original 909 rimshot sound was generated by fixed-frequency oscillators; on the RS909, these oscillators are tunable via dedicated potentiometers, allowing considerably broader flexibility of use. As with the other TipTop drum modules, the gate input is normalized to the accent input. Interesting variation can come from voltage control of the accent level, allowing more dynamic patching.

The RS909 is a great addition for anyone trying to add some classic snap and analog drum power to their system.
