Vintage 1988 PRS Standard Multi-foil Metal

This is a rare bird!  Not only is it a rare guitar, but its rare to find one with a few issues so it's actually affordable!  Rumor has it that only 12 of these in each color ( supposedly 4 colors total), ever left the factory which makes this one of the rarest PRS guitars around.  

This guitar sounds and plays awesome.  The neck is thin and fast with low action and no buzz. The foil is in great condition minus a small section (pictured) that looks to be missing but it is not peeling.  Man...this thing is dream to any PRS lover.  

As I said, it has some issues which keeps the price down on this.  All issues are pictured.  It had a small professional headstock repair that you can't even see unless you look really hard.  It also had a professional headstock wing repair.  The pickups were changed out to Gibson Burstbuckers and the routes were slightly enlarged.  Luckily, the writing and serial number in the bridge pickup cavity still remain!  One of the locking tops of one of the tuners is missing but it still works perfectly. Only other thing I see is that it has strap buttons installed.

Weighs in at 7lbs 6 ounces.

Comes with OHSC and trem arm.
