High Quality Classical!
This is a very rare Giannini GN50 Classical guitar. This guitar was built in 1965 by the Giannini Guitar Company in Brazil. Giannini makes high quality guitars and other stringed instruments. Very well known for Classical and Flamenco players. They use exotic woods. Jacaranda Brazilian Rosewood, Cedros Brazilian Mahogany and close grained Spruce for the top. This GN50 is made of Brazilian Mahogany on the back, sides and the neck. You can no longer use Brazilian Mahogany because it is now an endangered wood. It has a Spruce top, and a Rosewood Fretboard. Essentially it is made of this very rare Mahogany other than the top and fretboard. This wood is very resonant. That is why only the very top line guitars were made out of Brazilian Mahogany up until the ban was placed. This is the best and most expensive of the exotic woods.
The GN50 plays and sounds amazing. This is basically a hand built custom guitar. A very warm and lush sounding guitar. The aged wood gives it that vintage tone. A very easy and fun to play guitar.
I purchased this guitar from the original owner. The guitar is immaculate. Comes with the original Case, Registration Card, The bag it was shipped in, and assorted odds and ends. It has not had much playing time. This is a True "Closet Queen".
