I've been fortunate enough to pick up 2 Dudenbostel d18's. Both are the best D18s i've tried, both old and new. I've tried or had my hands on just about everything out there and none could compare. Both are so good and consistent that its very difficult to decide which one is better. Came down to the other has a neck that is ever so slightly smaller that i prefer. This one is slightly louder and more powerful. Difficult choice. I'm not greedy and I dont need 2 Dude d18s so i'm letting one go

This one Lynn called a Super 18. Varnish finish (feels somewhere between squeaky new nitrocellulose and satin). Very nice Old Standard Adirondack top. Bound fingerboard and headstock. Tortoiseshell theme throughout. 13/4 neck with a slight V shape. It’s not a case queen. It’s been played, not abused but shows some play wear! Nothing major and no issues!

Very powerful guitar! The loudest D18 I’ve had! Built in 2000 and opened up very nicely! Clarity, dry, balanced and power! This guitar has got it all. The best!
