Building on the success of the award-winning AES620 solid body, Yamaha has created an alternative to those looking for the playability and tone of the AES620 with a slightly different look. The AES620HB is a chambered body version of the popular AES620.

A quick glance shows the AES620HB contains the same great specifications as the AES620 with through-body stringing, Yamaha's signature finger tailpieces, and a Seymour Duncan JB bridge matched with a custom Alnico neck pickup. A closer look shows the AES620HB takes the quilted maple top on a mahogany back and adds Yamaha's unique "F" hole design to craft not only a stunning look but creating a unique hybrid sound. - THIS LISTING IS NOT OVER A YEAR OLD!!!  It was listed on February 22, 2018.  I initially made a listing to sell this guitar but then put in on hold, so the listing reads as over a year old.  The AES620HB is the best in the AES series in my opinion, I own two of them.  In fact the reason it was previously listed is because I didn't want to sell either one.  

- The scale is the same as a Les Paul, 24.75"

- Please watch the attached Youtube Video; answers a lot of questions about how great the guitar sounds

- The first three pictures listed above are stock-images of the AES620HB.
-  There is no feedback due to thinline type body with plank in the middle plus the nice mellow sound that a semi-hollow body guitar can provide.
-  This is a pretty rare guitar the doesn't come up for sale very often.  

-  I actually have two of these and am selling this one and keeping the other which is my main guitar; the reasons being is 1) AES620HB is not too heavy & not too light, 2) I can practice without having it plugged into an amplifier - the sound is pretty loud unplugged (see attached video)

-  In my opinion, the neck shape on these guitars are absolutely perfect along (medium thick C-shape) 

-  I mostly practice with this guitar unplugged as it is very loud for a semi-hollow electric-guitar.

-  The guitar currently doesn't have strings installed.  however I will be including a brand-new set of NYXL 9s electric-guitar strings for you to install.
-  There is some fretwear on the first few frets of the high BE strings.   Also the neck needs to be cleaned & conditioned.
-  It is all original in pickups and hardware.  I had installed locking-tuners and replaced them with the original "Grover" tuners for sale.  As seen in the picture there are installation holes on the back of the headstock that are not filled-in.  However a reputable luthier informed me he would fill the holes with matching wood and stain if needed.  I would recommend you do this simple job yourself if desired.
