About This Listing

1984 Guild D66-NT Made in USA (Westerly, RI)

GUILD D66 – Serial #KD100102 (low serial number!) These were designed by George Gruhn for Guild, and built in the Kim Walker years between 1984-86. Rosewood back and sides, Sitka spruce top, mahogany neck, 1-11/16 nut, slotted diamond inlay on bound ebony fingerboard, scalloped bracing, G-shield peghead inlay, Super Kluson tuners.  Light build.  Good, player's condition. Big, warm classic Guild meets D-28 tone. Amazing sounding instrument. Not many of these guitars around! Hard Case included.

CONDITION:

The condition of this guitar is definitely a player's guitar. It has an input jack, though it does NOT work. So as of right now it is only an acoustic guitar. I do not even know if it has electronics to plug in. Also has scratches on one side. Have two small cracks on the side (they are right next to each other) that were repaired with super glue 2 months after it was purchased new (shown in pictures)/
