I have cared for this as I do all my instruments; it has been in a well regulated home studio. I have never gigged with it.

This piano was originally purchased at MANNYS in NYC in 1975 by Don Sternecker. It was used in his studio MIX-O-LYDIAN here in NJ until I purchased it from him. The diverse array of clients that used his studio include international stars such as Mick Jagger, Peter Buck (REM), Peter Gabriel, Stewart Copland, Marianne Faithful, Blues Traveler and countless others…I have always wondered what recordings this piano may have been used on.

I stopped by a retail keyboard shop that had dozens of vintage EP's to see what the Wurlys and Rhodes were selling for. I was shocked at the prices they were asking for pianos with not a fraction of the work this one has had done on it. I feel my asking price is quite low....I will however consider a reasonable offer. I just picked up a Wurlitzer 140B and I need to fund the restoration. That's why I'm selling it. That and to keep out of divorce court... LOL.

I have described this item to the best of my ability. This is a vintage instrument and as such there are no returns, it is sold AS IS, butif you need any tips or instruction on how to service it I will be glad to help out and show you how to do the basics.  The only other issue with it is on leg is missing the tightening clutch. I simply use a small rubber furniture pad about 2" in diameter under one leg. It holds perfectly. I saw a single leg for sale on ebay for 45.00 with the part, if you MUST have it, but really its not an issue at all cosmetically or functionally.

ALL WORK AND RESTORATION WAS DONE BY ME.

I have been building and assembling custom guitars for some time, as well as doing restorations on my own EP's and instruments for friends and family...

I used only  VINTAGE VIBE parts in the restoration as I find them to be superior to any others available. Please visit their website if you’re looking for the very finest instruments on the market....but bring your check book!

THERE IS NO DOMESTIC OR INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING. PICKUP ONLY... or delivery as described above.
