Transmit Four Channels of Analog Audio Via Cat 5 The Radial Catapult TX4L is an ingenious invention. When combined with the Catapult RX4L, it enables you to transform a standard Cat 5 cable into a 4-channel line-level analog snake. Simply connect a shielded Cat 5 cable between the two modules, and they’ll use the analog conductors in the cable to deliver four balanced audio lines to whatever destination you choose. The TX4L employs simultaneous straight-wire direct and low-noise transformer-isolated outputs. At GearNuts, we’ve used the TX4L to transmit audio via a building’s pre-existing Ethernet network, with no digital conversion necessary. You can put a performer, mic, and preamp in one room, and send the signal to your DAW in a completely different room. Sending audio between two distant locations has never been easier!Radial Catapult TX4L Features: Transforms a standard Cat 5 cable into a 4-channel line-level analog snake (when used
