Our 8-string stereo multi-mode instrument is a collaboration between Emmett Chapman (creator of the Stick) and Ned Steinberger (creator of the NS Double Bass, Bass Cello and many other instruments). Designed for optimized two-handed tapping, and conventional guitar and bass techniques, this instrument incorporates a number of ideas from both The Stick () and the Steinberger bass (knee rest and headless design), as well as some completely new ideas, like a patented
The bolt-on is Moses Graphite, with our distinctive Stick rear bevel. The is a choice of beautiful hardwoods with a "soft finish" so the player can really feel the wood, or an optional high gloss clear coat. Choose from natural wood colors or several penetrating dyes and stains. Additional charges for the dyes and clear coat apply.
Active EMG pickups
Four active EMG pickups, 2 for each set of 4 strings, can be routed in stereo or mono, and have active bass treble and volume controls.

Good used condition. This stick was a player for someone prior to my purchase, but has primarily been in its case for the last year as I never got into as much as I thought I would.
This has the Moses Graphite neck and walnut (I believe) body with Gk-3 modified midi pickup system.
Moderate age is shown on rear and on tuning knobs.
