Solid Koa Top

The OMCE Koa sports a beautiful solid Koa top and laminated Koa Back and sides. The solid Koa top provides a real shimmer to the acoustics sound while the laminate Koa back and sides help to balance out the tone. The solid Koa top will also evolve over time to produce a more pronounced mid-tone. The dark Koa grain adds a real maturity to the look of the guitar allowing the player to imprint their own personality on the guitar and not the other way around. The OMCE Koa features a curved cutaway for better access to the higher frets for those looking for more lead-oriented playing and the jack also doubles as the rea strap holder.

Elegant Ebony fingerboard

The OMCE Koa has a very elegant C profile neck, made from a beautifully matched mahogany. The OMCE Koa's neck is like silk, hugely playable and sports an Ebony fingerboard with vintage style compact frets. The inlays are Mother of Pearl and are smaller than normal for a more modern look, there are also top dots for easy navigation. The nut is made from bone for the most authentic sound and lasting quality.

Fishman Presys 101 Electronics

The OMCE Koa is fitted with Fishman Pre-sys 101 Pre Amp. Fishman is the world leader in pickup technology and at this price point, it is a steal to have a Fishman powered electro-acoustic. The Pre-sys 101 has a volume, 3 Band EQ (Bass, middle & treble) and a phase button. The phase allows you to have greater control over the open nature of the pickup helping to reduce or cut out any live feedback. The Pre-sys has a built-in tuner with an LED indicator that cuts out sound when in use so not to subject your audience to re-tuning.
