Here we have a 1978 Yamaha SG2000S ES335 style semi-acoustic electric guitar made in Japan. Ships with original hard shell case. Solid spruce top, ebony board, double block abalone inlays, gold hardware. This model covers so much ground and is just a pleasure to play. Cleans are so musical and "woody" with or without coil split. The solid spruce top really makes it shine. Finish has a bit of clouding inherent in this particular model. Frets have plenty of life and guitar plays smooth with no electrical issues. Push push coil taps work very well. This instrument shows wear consistent with a well-loved guitar from the late 1970’s or early 1980’s. There are pick scratches on the pickguard and various nicks and dings on the body. Currently set up with 11's with medium low action. It is difficult to part ways with such a stellar instrument. Check out specs below. Any questions, please just ask.
