About This Listing

Picked this up recently from one of our customer that said he toured with  Mike Bloomfield in the 1960's (wild stories as you can imagine). He is the original owner - said it was a special gift from his Wife who recently passed.

Vintage 1968 Guild "Studio" 303 Starfire - Very Rare! All Original! These are hard to find and this an excellent example of one.

The most noticeable flaw in the finish is located at the back of the neck by the head-stock. This looks like it could have been from rubbing in the case over time. It does not effect the play-ability of this guitar at all. The Bigsby tailpiece is smooth and resonant on this hollow body Guild.

Great action and very little fret wear - especially for it's age. Own a piece of the golden age of Guild's manufacturing days. She's a PEACH!

Comes with the original hard-shell case that has a lot of signs of use, but did its job by keeping this guitar in excellent condition. Please let us know if you have any further questions on this great guitar!
