As many of you might know, Klira was a German string instrument manufacturer who closed their doors in 1982. They started production of acoustic and electric guitars around the 1950’s which was around the same time this "Red King" archtop guitar was built. Befitting its name this instrument has been adorned with an all-body red burst finish. This body was made with maple for the back and sides in combination with a spruce top. Like many Klira guitars this instrument has many beautiful details and bindings. Quite recently this guitar was fitted with a newer pickguard with matching finish and a floating D'Armond pickup which sounds absolutely stunning. Condition is Very Good; it looks very clean with some expected signs of use for its age. The frets are newer and the guitar plays great! Includes newer hardshell case.
