The Meinl Byzance 18" Dual Crash features a stunning contrast of extra dry and brilliant finishes with a unique combination of hammering and lathing.   These crash cymbals have an open, full-bodied sound and feel along with dark, extra dry, and earthy tones. The wash these cymbals create is smooth and complex due to their finely lathed outside ring. Your stick will melt as you crash on them, creating a strong physical connection between you and the response you get from the cymbal. Larger hammer marks add to their earthy personality.

Their hand hammered and lathed surfaces with warm sounds and selection of models may be rooted in tradition, but MEINL Byzance cymbals are the ultimate choice when it comes to modern versatility. Every Byzance model is hand hammered into shape by cymbal artisans in Turkey from B20 bronze alloy, giving each cymbal its own unique and colorful voice.
