This listing is for a Banning Cabronita Telecaster in a sunburst finish. I've had this guitar around a year and it has been a real treat to play!
The maple neck has an immaculate shape and the finishing/sanding on it makes it really a breeze to navigate. Also, the ebony board is really a great take on the Fender neck. The Fralin P-90s sound very warm and authoritative: they've sounded stellar through every amp I've played it through. The only modifications of any sort that have been done to this guitar since manufacture are the extensive shielding of the control cavity with copper tape and the tone cap changed to a .033uf paper-in-oil capacitor for a little more high-end and clarity. The reliced knobs were removed but will be included in the case if you want to change them back. The handle of the case was taped for comfort as the edges were a little harsh on the hands.
The guitar has an Alder body, Ebony
Fretboard, Sperzel Locking Tuners with Bigsby B-5 and medium relic
treatment. The electronics are two
Fralin Hum Canceling P-90 pickups with three way switch, volume and tone
knob. I can't stress enough how stellar this thing sounds. The playability of this guitar is truly second-to-none and the relicing looks killer. I'm parting with this because I'm more of a humbucker guy and there's no excuse for having this guitar lie around when I have bills to pay.
This guitar will come with factory case, certificate of authenticity, build sheet and a set of 10 gauge Ernie Ball strings. I ship via USPS and the guitar will be well packaged. I'm also happy to deliver the guitar in person if you are within 2 hours of New Haven, CT.
