Jackson USA Super-Light Soloist (SLS) Custom. Pre-Fender

Late 90's pre-Fender Jackson Superlight Soloist SLS Custom - Made in the USA! Stunning cherry burst with full (body, neck and headstock) cream binding.

Light-weight Mahogany body with AAA flame-Maple top. Quarter-sawn neck-through Mahogany neck with Ebony fretboard and unique (and rare) mother-of-pearl Jackson inlays. 24.75" scale-length.

This one may have had it's pickups changed at some point - now housing Di Marzio HBs. The rest of the hardware is original - Spertzel locking tuners (with Perloid buttons) and non-tremolo string-through-body bridge.

Guitar is in beautiful condition. Extremely light buckle rash on the back (barely noticeable) and only the slightest of pick-scratches/swirls here and there on top (only really viewable when angled into the light). No dings to speak of. The jumbo frets show a bit of wear, particularly in the lower registers, but nothing of concern - plenty of life left in them yet. An easy 9/10!

Guitar plays great - excellent smooth action and phenomenal tone - Di Marzio's scream to high heaven. Sustain is brilliant, as can be expected from such a finely crafted instrument.

These guitars are sought after and very collectable.. they don't come up that often.

Includes original case, also in excellent condition.
