For sale is a beautiful 2006 Gibson Les Paul Standard Premium Plus, featuring the highly figured AAA flamed maple top that made the Premium Plus models stand out from the regular Les Paul Standard lineup.

This is a great example from the early-2000s Gibson era, with a rich burst finish, figured maple extending all the way to the edges, a mahogany body and neck, rosewood fingerboard, and the substantial rounded '50s-style neck profile.

The guitar has also been upgraded with a set of Lindy Fralin Pure PAF humbuckers with nickel covers. These are outstanding pickups and a significant upgrade for anyone looking for classic Les Paul tone. Fralin designed the Pure PAF around original late-'50s PAF specifications: lower output, clear and articulate, with excellent dynamics, smooth breakup, and plenty of vintage character.

The result is a Les Paul that sounds open and detailed clean, responds extremely well to picking dynamics, and delivers the woody, articulate PAF-style overdrive that these guitars are known for.

This has been a studio guitar only and has never been toured. It has seen very light use and shows very little overall wear for a 2006 instrument.

A beautiful guitar that looks exceptional in person and sounds exactly the way a great Les Paul should. I have owned this guitar since 2007 and it saw some studio use until about 2009. It has been mostly in the case and bedroom since then unfortunately because my "career" ended.
