The IB2 is based on the hugely successful IB1 with one major change to the driver compliment. The addition of the PMC 75 large soft dome mid range unit increases the definition and clarity to the level of the larger monitors in the range with no increase in cabinet size. Since the launch of the IB2 it has featured worldwide with high profile clients such as Ronald Prent – Galaxy, Kraftwerk – Kling Klang, Teldex – Berlin, JVC – Japan and the list goes on.
Ultra low distortion Bryston PowerPac 300™ can
be bolted to the rear of the IB2 creating a neat and potent performing
package. These conservatively rated 300W mono block amplifiers take both
balanced and unbalanced inputs and, with their close proximity to the
cabinet ensure the best power transfer from amp to speaker available.
Its
potent performance and unsurpassed definition across the audio spectrum
has made it the ideal reference monitor for What HiFi Sound and Vision
Magazine and for anyone who wants to sample the pure essence of a
recording without compromise.
