The EG345C dreadnought 12-string features a spruce top for extended dynamic range and with rich harmonic content. The mahogany back and sides enhance resonance and the gloss finish adds durability and enduring beauty. This instrument includes the famous Takamine under saddle pickup and TP4T preamp with three band EQ and built in tuner.

TP4T Preamp
The TakamineTP4T preamp found on the EG460SC features a gain knob, a tuner, an active shelving system EQ with bass, middle, and treble frequency slider controls, and a low battery light. The preamp is switched on by plugging a standard mono instrument cable into the endpin/strap pin jack. Unplugging the cable switches the preamplifier off. The TP4T Preamplifier is powered by a single 9 volt battery.
