From Epiphone's highly regarded Elitist line. Made in Japan to the highest standards of quality. Many players prefer these to more expensive Gibsons. Nice attention to detail and good feel. The specs are top notch. The body is mahogany with a maple top. The one piece mahogany neck features a bound rosewood fingerboard with block inlays. Dual Gibson USA 50SR and 60ST humbuckers dish out classic tone. A Tuneomatic bridge, Stopbar tailpiece and Grover Rotomatic tuners keep it rock solid. American made toggle switch and quality electronics. The finish is a gorgeous wine red and is set off by gold hardware and multiple binding. A really nice Les Paul that compares favorably to more expensive Gibsons.

Like many Japanese built guitars, this Les Paul plays great. These were built in the same factory as the highly regarded Gretsch reissues. A very comfortable guitar with good frets, nice action and great feel. The pickups sound excellent and the electronics work as they should. This is a nice used guitar. It shows normal wear and was taken care of. Some fading of the gold hardware. Light pick and clearcoat scratches and light to moderate indents and dings. Comes in an Epiphone hardshell case.

Epiphone no longer offers this model. A shame really as they were excellent instruments for the money. Good quality and a great value.
