Fresher guitars were built in the famous Matsumoto region of Japan throughout the 1970's and were sold by Kyowa (responsible for importing Charvel, Jackson, Takamine etc).
This is a very cool Telecaster from what appears to be the late 1960's. Blatant Fender-style logo on the headstock gives that classic "lawsuit" vibe. Thick rounded maple neck and a slab rosewood fingerboard, 628mm scale length with 21 vintage frets.
Likely started life with a white finish but now has a faded yellow aesthetic. Interestingly this also has the input jack mounted to the control plate along with a factory Les Paul style toggle.
Received a full professional teardown and setup prior to being listed, plays well and sounds great with some quirky lipstick style pickups.
