Brand new Marco, ‘Marcustico’ semi acoustic 34 inch scale fretless bass. Piezo pickup in bridge , 9 volt electronics. This is the bass that sounds like an upright bass for folks that don’t want that commitment. It’s a gorgeous instrument and does indeed have a lot of the tonal characteristics of an upright bass and a lot of its own unique tones, and of course looks !
It’s exquisitely crafted, and at 34 inch scale is very handy to play. Plugged in, it has a phenomenal bottom end, which combined with its acoustic design give it a sumptuous range of tone. It is absolutely brand new and comes with its own case. That’s Taurus Mateen playing a Marcustico ( Jason Moran, OutKast,)
