At the end of the 1978-1979, Nihon-Hammond Ltd released a stomp box series " Big Jam ", which was OEM-manufactured and supplied by a Japanese company called “ Firstman ". Multivox is a US distributor of Nihon-Hammond Ltd, sold under Big Jam's OEM supply. The Big Jam series were a rival to the BOSS stomp box series launched by Roland at the same time, but disappeared from the market within a few years of production.
