Simply amazing heritage hand made spruce and mahogany carved back acoustic. I have had hundreds of heritage guitars and this was one I found in a pro player’s collection. I have photos of Marv lamb, the builder of the guitar, with this guitar at the factory as well as the original heritage build ledger showing the finish date in the original hand written factory records. Marv recalls this being the first one he built. The back is carved like an arch top. The top is spruce and the body and neck is all mahogany. This was a pro played guitar in his studio. It shows very minor signs of being handled. A few finish dimples, some light strum marks, and the like. The back shows a nitro finish crack—see pictures. This is a finish crack, often seen with old nitro. The finish flaw is not in the wood in any way—it does not follow the grain nor does it show any wood damage when magnified. A very easy 8.5/10. The frets are perfect as is the set up. The neck joint and angle are perfect. The guitar needs nothing other than a set up if you are particular to your playing style. Original case included. Marv recalls only building a few of these. I am selling it at what I paid to get it from the original owner. Phone and in hand descriptions are preferred.
