Novax Charlie Hunter CH8 8-string guitar/bass 2006 Natural Swamp Ash (fanned fret, Mayer)

Bought this guitar new in 2006 shipped directly from Novax Guitars.  Finish is Natural Swamp Ash.  Played it once or twice.  Has been sitting in its case in my smoke free house since that time.  It is in the exact same condition in which it was bought new.  Even has the same strings (although oxidized now).  Even has the original "Novax Fanned Fret" promotional fan.  Sounds great, plays great.  Weighs about 8.75 lbs.  I am torn about selling this guitar.  It is perfect for what it is, but realistically my schedule is too busy with work to expect to put in the time I would need to become proficient at this, which is why I am selling.  If I had more time, I would absolutely keep it.  I think it is the coolest instrument and sound I have ever experienced.  Check out the video posted with the pics of Charlie Hunter doing what he does best with this amazing instrument.  John Mayer owns one too.  Search for "John Mayer Stitched Up - Slight Return" on YouTube to check him out playing one.
