The Alvarez Artist Series AG710CE Grand Auditorium Cutaway Acoustic-Electric Guitar is a stunning guitar made with a hand-selected A grade Sitka top with rosewood back and sides. The high gloss finish really brings out the beauty and grain in the rosewood and like all Artist Series this one has advanced scalloped bracing and premium all natural components. Just like Artist ’60 models the ‘70’s have incredible tone and the rosewood helps to accentuate the highs and lows just a tad more.
This AG75CE Grand Auditorium acoustic-electric has similar dimensions to the Dreadnought, but a narrower waist helping to pronounce the treble notes a little more. Great for fingerpicking and strumming, the GA is an all rounder. This model is fitted with the SYS650 blend system with chromatic tuner. The term “solid top” refers to the soundboard of an acoustic guitar being made of solid wood, rather than being laminated. However, just because the top is solid, it does not necessarily mean the sound automatically benefits from this feature. The tone of the instrument only improves significantly when the whole guitar is built correctly to really release the energy a solid soundboard can generate. The all-new Artist Series is built to do exactly this.
The SYS650 designed by B-BAND is a pro level EQ and pick up that reproduces the sound of the guitar very closely with great clarity. B-BAND use a patented under saddle electret film pick up which eliminates synthetic or processed sounds often heard with Piezo or other styles of pickup. The result is a very true, acoustic sound. SYS650 also has an accurate, backlit chromatic digital tuner.

What was refurbished on this guitar: When this guitar came in from the factory, the authorized refurbisher couldn't find anything wrong with it. No repairs or modifications were made to the guitar - they simply gave it a set-up and left it alone. This is a discontinued model that was simply sent to the refurbisher as overstock. It looks and plays like new.
