S.Yairi guitars were made in Japan by Sadao Yairi who taught his nephew Kazuo Yairi (K Yairi) how to build a high quality guitar.

YD404 is the highest model of 400 series and has Martin prewar model characters such as Herringbone bindings, snow flake position marks and lacquer finish

Straight neck with a good action 2.5mm and 2mm@12F

Laminated Jacaranda Body Back, Side and Mahogany neck 43mm nut width

Body is Dreadnought size which has distinctive Jacaranda (Brazilian Rosewood) high sparkling sound and rich bass sound

Tuners are Schaller made in W Germany

Guitar Condition (Very Good condition, Low action)

Straight neck with truss rod working fine, playing very well with low action
Frets have some wear from normal use but still got good life

• Body top lacquer finish has fine weather checks as aging process
  
• Body back and side has some minor scratches and cloud in finish on side, small dents and pick markings but overall in good condition for 39years old guitar
