2007 Michael Kelly Valor Special

This guitar is in very good condition. The neck is straight, frets have no wear, and all the electronics work as intended.  All the gold hardware is showing its age. The 18:1 Grover Tuners stay in tune and the guitar plays like a dream. There is some minor pick scratches and a few dings. One ding is a crack in the clear coat and is outlined in red in one of the pictures.

The Riboloff Rockfield Humbucking Pickups generate thick, sustaining tone and feature coil tapping so you can get single coil tones by pulling the volume and tone knobs.  This guitar would make an excellent upgrade for a beginner or as a back up for a working guitarist.

Overview

The Michael Kelly Valor Special electric guitar is a classic axe built for speed and sweet sound. Crafted from solid mahogany with a set neck and rosewood fretboard, it has a very smooth neck joint, 24-3/4" scale, 22 jumbo frets, pearl fingerboard inlays, Grover tuners, and dual Riboloff/Rockfield SWC humbuckers. These clear-voiced pickups feature a special combination of classic components and special winding methods deliver big-but-still-vintage guitar tone. Both pickups are coil-tapped so you can get cutting single-coil sounds, too. The highly polished solid finishes show off each curve of the body and the deep carved top.
