1964 Guild T100D 'Slim Jim', similar to the Starfire, in Cherry Red.
Made in the USA when craftsmanship and pride led the music industry. Built in the Hoboken, New Jersey factory, the T-100D also known as the "Slim Jim" is a semi-hollow body double pickup equivalent to the Starfire 3. In production from 1958 - 1973 this '64 model with intact interior label and matching serial numbers is a fine example of these somewhat still undiscovered Guild tone machines.
Weight: 6.2lbs
Service History
This has just been cleaned, restrung and set up, making this ready to plug in and play.
Cosmetic Inspection
This is in great, used condition. There are a few marks to the back of the neck and body, as pictured, that have come from the years of use. There has also been a previous repair to the sound hole, as pictured. It is structurally perfect but it was left as its pictured, without any colour. The buyer could either leave it as it is or add a bit of red to it. The price reflects this.
Summary
Overall, this is a very rare and collectable guitar. Not only is this sure to increase in value year on year, but also it can be an enjoyed investment.
