This Analogman BC183 is "loaded", complete with 9V tap (no battery needed!) and the Sundial.

taken from Analogman.com (Mike Piera) regarding the BC183 transistors:
"This one is a medium /high-gain fuzz, that responds well different amplifier settings and the volume control knob on the guitar.
'Medium high gain. I like these a lot for a silicon fuzz. Almost all the silicon transistors sound about the same if you use transistors with the same gain ranges. But these BC183 are all in the right gain range so it's easier to make a more consistent and excellent sounding fuzz. These are really smooth, almost like a germanium sound, smoothest of the Silicons. Not as bright as the BC108 or BC109'
The BC183 transistors are a little warmer than the BC108 and still have plenty of fuzz. I think Eric Johnson has BC183 in the red fuzzface that he used for years, and the new 2012 Dunlop Eric Johnson signature Fuzz Face seems to use a BC183 too".
