For sale is a Conrad Johnson MV-55 vacuum tube power amplifier set up in ultra-linear configuration, or at least that's what I was told when I purchased it approximately 10 years ago. While going through things to sell it I noticed the original sales receipt states "Triode Conversion" so I'm assuming that means converting to ultra linear from the factory triode setting? This was purchased new in 2005 and I am the second owner. Anyhow, I used this as part of my home stereo set-up for the past 10 years and it made a great entry level tube amp, had lots of fun experimenting with different tubes over the years and will be happy to include all the currently installed tubes you see in the photos along with 3 spare EL-34's shown in the last photo (not sure what happened to the 4th). Also included is the original manual and bias adjustment tool (stuck in the spine of the manual). As shown in the photos, the amp is missing the tube protection cover - I personally think the amp looks better without it but please note the cover is NOT included.
Please refer to Conrad Johnson's website for the full specs;
(just scroll down until you get to the MV-55).
Ships via Fedex Ground. Amp will be double boxed and in the manufacturer supplied packaging. Open to all reasonable offers - thanks for looking!
