Random Source Jürgen Haible Dual Wasp Filter 2018 Silver

As you can tell from the photo, I went through a long phase where I was really into Wasp filters! This module is not commercially available and was built by a professional in the US. I've used it only in environments free of smoke/pets/dust/etc. Racked only using Befaco knurlies. 

I've been particularly happy using it to process instruments like electric guitar and drums, especially with the distortion circuit.

This unit was sounds amazing and has neat morphing between 24 dB/oct LP to gnarly dual peak configurations, and can act as a to a stereo filter + additional mixed output. There are also distortion circuits which can be switched between pre/post filter, and also modulate both cutoff and serial-parallel routing!

Jürgen Haible's WASP Filter is a dual version with some modifications and addons - including a MODE section that acts as a dynamic link between both filters. It allows to combine the filters in series or parallel or anything in between - even voltage controlled(!). Also, each side can blend from lowpass to highpass or bandpass (yes, the notch is in there, too!) creating infinite filterbank combinations. A Sync switch has been added to be able to control both side’s cutoff frequency with from the left side.
